Sliced Dried Shiitake and Dried Sliced Daikin Stiry Fry




  • 10g Tasty Chef Dried Sliced Shiitake
  • 3g Shredded kombu kelp
  • 20g Dried Gobo (burdock root)
  • 30g Dried sliced Daikon radish and carrot mix
  • 100g Deep-fried tofu
  • 6 Snow pea pods
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 200ml Reserved Shiitake and kombu liquid
  • 1 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 1/2 Tablespoons Mirin
  • 3 Tablespoons Light soy sauce


  1. Rinse the dried sliced daikon radish and carrot mix and the dried gobo, rehydrate them in lukewarm water, and squeeze out excess water.
  2. Rinse the Tasty Chef Dried Sliced Shiitake mushrooms and soak them with the kombu in 200ml of water to rehydrate. When they are rehydrated, cut off the stems and slice. The soaking liquid will be used later.
  3. Drain the oil from the deep-fried tofu and cut it into bite-size pieces
  4. Add vegetable oil to the pot, heat to medium temperature, add ingredients ①, ② and ③, and stir fry
  5. Add the reserved Tasty Chef Dried Sliced Shiitake mushrooms and kombu liquid. When it reaches a boil, add the seasonings marked A and simmer at medium heat
  6. Lastly, add the snow peas, allow it to reboil, and it’s done
