Imperator is a unique wine produced from the variety Vranec, from late harvested selected grapes from Bovin’s own vineyards. Wine with deep dark red-black colour and intense aroma of wild fruits such as blueberries, blackthorns, blackberries, and sour cherries. The taste follows the aroma and it’s strong and fresh.
It is recommended to be served with meat dishes such as pork, lamb and fatty fish at 15-17ºC.
A pale lemon wine delivering tropical and stone fruit aromas underpinned by a streak of zesty citrus. Beautifully balanced on the palate with crisp and refreshing fruit flavours through to a clean, vibrant finish.
The Vranec grape hails from Montenegro and is considered their most important grape variety. Pronounced ‘Vran-etz’, this popular grape is responsible for 50% of red wines produced in Macedonia and is also commonly found in Croatia, Serbia and Kosovo.
Merlot is soft, mellow and generally medium-bodied. Its rise from well-kept French secret to worldwide favourite is largely due to its approachable palate and versatile food-matching potential, making it a good option for white wine drinkers and those new to red wines.
This wine has an intense red colour. It has a distinctive taste of raisins and raspberries. The wine has ripe tannins, giving it a pleasant some sweet aftertaste.
The grape is known for its rich flavour and intense aromas.
